Watching a movie is our first choice in terms of entertainment. In this article, I – at creating a list of the Top 5 Best Movies of all time according to IMDb ratings. This includes films from various languages, and it is based on ratings of global user ratings given on IMDb.


What is an IMDb rating?

IMDb is the “Internet Movie Database”.

IMDb‘s ranking system decides the position of the film by using a complex formula that uses a weighted formula that accounts for both the total number of ratings and the rating average. To even qualify its name in the IMDb list a movie needs a minimum of 25,000 user ratings.

Those user ratings should come from the “regular IMDb voters”.
